D’Alma Trio

Indulge in a night of exquisite chamber music. This trio of world-class musicians brings a French repertoire to life through the mesmerizing sounds of a flute, a harp, and a viola. A concert that speaks directly to the soul.

When the delicate notes of a flutist, the resonant chords of a harpist, and the soulful tones of a viola player meet and for the first time playing together expect a passionate and mesmerising experience.

Meet Ana Ferraz, the flutist with an excellent academic and performing career. Since 2022 she has been the first flute of the Berlin Kammer-Philharmonic.

Meet harpist Brit Arend who performs extensively in Malta and Europe as a chamber musician and has recorded three CDs in collaboration with other artists.

Meet Alexandre Razera, the viola player who has a successful career as a soloist, tutor, and also chamber musician.

The three musicians collaborate for the first time to present a programme including not only Debussy’s Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harp – a staple work of unparalleled beauty for this combination of instruments – but also other gems like Jolivet’s Petite Suite.

The concert is a tapestry of weaving melodies that transcend language and speak directly to the heart. A journey through the timeless sounds of classicism to the intricate and evocative lines of impressionism. A celebration of unity where the dazzling power of music surpasses the need for words.

The venue will be the Casino Maltese, sited in a historic building with sumptuous architectural features in the heart of Malta’s capital city Valletta with balconies enjoying views of both St George’s Square and Republic Square.
